Job Description

1. Purchase Management (The "Inflow")

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers. Maintain a database of vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Order Tracking: Follow up with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on schedule and resolve any delays.

2. Receiving Process (The "Inward")

  • Documentation: Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and ensure all delivery challans are properly filed.
  • Discrepancy Handling: Manage returns or credit notes for damaged goods or incorrect shipments.

3. Material Dispatch (The "Outflow")

  • Order Fulfilment: Coordinate with the sales or production team to prioritize outgoing shipments.
  • Logistics Coordination: Book transporters, negotiate freight rates, and track shipments until they reach the customer.
  • Documentation: Prepare Invoices, Delivery Challans (DC)
  • Lead Time: Reducing the time between order placement and material arrival.
