Accountant

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for supervising the accounts department and ensuring accurate maintenance of financial records for all group companies. The role includes monitoring accounting operations, filing statutory returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing timely financial reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Supervision

* Supervise and coordinate the work of the accounts team.

* Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

2. Accounting Control

* Review and verify sales, purchase, and expense entries.

* Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts.

* Conduct ledger scrutiny and resolve discrepancies.

3. Bank & Financial Monitoring

* Review bank reconciliation statements.

* Monitor payments, receipts, and financial transactions.

4. Statutory Compliance & Return Filing

* Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns.

* Monitor GST reconciliation and compliance requirements.

* Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

5. Financial Reporting

* Prepare and present financial summaries and reports to management.

* Maintain records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

6. CA & Auditor Coordination

* Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and auditors for compliance, assessments, and audits.

Qualification Req.: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)

Experience Req.: • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.

* Experience in handling GST, TDS, and statutory return filings.

* Experience in managing accounting teams and multiple company accounts is preferred.

Technical Skills Required:

The candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally or accounting software, GST and TDS return filing, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in audit coordination and multi-company accounting is required.

Soft Skills Required:

The candidate should possess strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capability to supervise and coordinate the accounts team effectively. Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure accuracy in financial records. The role also requires effective communication skills, time management, and the ability to work under deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
