Job Description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose and repair faults in electronic energy meters (single-phase and three-phase) and GPRS modems.
  • Perform functional testing and calibration of meters and modems after repair.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair activities and spare parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all repair work.
  • Maintain tools, testing equipment, and workstations in proper working condition.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Diploma or ITI in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in repairing electronic devices (preferably energy meters).
  • Good understanding of microcontroller-based circuit boards and SMT components
  • Proficiency in using soldering/desoldering tools and testing instruments such as multimeters.
  • Knowledge of calibration standards and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
