Job Description: Mechanical Design Engineer (Conveyors & Automation)

Dynamic Industrial, a leader in material handling and industrial automation since 1997, is looking for a high-caliber Mechanical Design Engineer to join our core team. We manufacture everything from heavy-duty industrial conveyor systems to high-tech AMRs and specialized restaurant robotics. This is a role for an engineer who wants to move beyond simple drafting and take full ownership of the project lifecycle.

The Role: Design Mastery & Innovation

In this position, you will be the lead architect of our mechanical solutions. You must be an expert in Solidworks and AutoCAD, capable of designing complex machinery and conveyor systems independently. This role is not just about following orders; you will be a vital part of our R&D department, helping us innovate new automation products and AGV technologies. You will take projects from a blank screen to a fully functioning Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring every mechanical detail is optimized for safety and performance.

From Site Evaluation to Client Consulting

This position requires a mix of technical brilliance and practical problem-solving. You will visit customer sites across various industries to conduct technical evaluations of their material flow and space constraints. Based on your findings, you will consult with clients to suggest the most efficient and cost-effective conveyor configurations. You aren't just designing a machine; you are creating a solution that reduces their manual labor and maximizes their operational ROI.

Bridge to Production

Once the design is finalized, you will act as the technical bridge to our manufacturing floor. You will explain project layouts to the production team, troubleshoot engineering challenges during the build phase, and ensure the final assembly matches your technical vision. Your support is crucial in maintaining our 25-year reputation for precision-engineered, low-maintenance builds.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a self-starter who can manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. You should have a deep understanding of mechanical fabrication, gear motor calculations, and material handling logic.
