Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Daily Accounting WorkMaintain day-to-day accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Expenses).
- Record cash and bank transactions accurately.
- Manage petty cash and daily cash closing.
- Billing & InvoicingGenerate sales invoices and purchase entries.
- Ensure proper billing as per GST rules.
- Maintain record of all bills and vouchers.
- Stock & Ledger ManagementMaintain party ledgers and reconcile balances.
- Coordinate with store team for stock records.
- Monitor outstanding payments (Receivable & Payable).
- Bank & Payment HandlingHandle bank entries, cheque deposits, and online payments.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly.
- GST & ComplianceAssist in GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
- Maintain proper tax records and documents.
- Coordinate with CA when required.
- ReportingPrepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Provide sales, expense, and profit reports to management.
- Skills & Requirements:Basic knowledge of accounting.
- Familiar with accounting software like Busy / Tally / Vyapar.
- Knowledge of GST basics.
- Good with numbers and attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, billing software).
- Behavioral Requirements:Honest and responsible.
- Ability to handle confidential data.
- Punctual and disciplined.
- Willing to learn and improve.
- Preferred:Experience in grocery / wholesale / trading business accounting.
- Experience in multi-user billing or inventory software.
- Work Rules:Maintain accuracy in all entries.
- No delay in daily accounting updates.
- Follow company policies and reporting structure.
