Job Description
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals as per standardized recipes and production plans
Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, cutting, marinating, and portioning
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety standards (HACCP, FSSAI, etc.)
- Support senior chefs (Chef de Partie, Sous Chef) in bulk food production
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and prepared food
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage
- Follow safety procedures while handling kitchen equipment and tools
- Assist in receiving and inspecting raw materials and supplies
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown
