Field Sales Executive

You will be Instant Mechanic's boots on the ground — receiving breakdown leads from Gurugram towing vendors, reaching the stranded customer, riding with them to the garage, and ensuring the car is successfully handed over for repair. You're not just a salesperson; you are the customer's repair partner from the moment their car breaks down until the garage accepts it. Every successful drop-off is your win.

Field Sales Executive — What You'll Do

day-to-day journey

• Get breakdown lead from towing vendor (WhatsApp / call)
• Ride to the breakdown spot on your two-wheeler
• Meet the car owner — calm them down, understand the issue
• Recommend the right nearby garage from Instant Mechanic's network
• Escort the car owner to the garage — travel with them or alongside the tow vehicle
• Ensure the car is handed over — job card created, cost & timeline agreed
• Don't leave until the garage has accepted the car
• Log the outcome and move to the next lead

other responsibilities

• Keep towing vendor relationships warm — they are your lead source
• Call the customer 24 hrs after drop-off to check satisfaction
• Report ground feedback — garage quality, breakdown trends, competitor activity
• Refer new towing vendors or mechanics to the Instant Mechanic network

Requirements

0–3 years in field sales, customer service, or automotive aftermarket (preferred)

Physically mobile — comfortable riding across Gurugram multiple times a day

Own two-wheeler with valid driving licence

Strong spoken Hindi; basic English is a plus

High empathy — you're dealing with people in stressful, stranded situations

Comfortable with WhatsApp, Google Maps, and basic smartphone apps

Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Basic understanding of common car problems — you don't need to be a mechanic, but you need to sound credible to a worried car owner

Residing in or near Gurugram strongly preferred
