Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Executive to join our Global Distribution team. This role is critical to our export business growth strategy, requiring a professional who can identify, engage, and qualify potential buyers across global markets. The successful candidate will leverage advanced trade intelligence platforms like Volza, manage comprehensive global databases, and execute targeted multi-channel outreach campaigns across email, social media, and other digital channels. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Global Distribution, this position demands strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work systematically across different countries and market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Global Database Management and Lead Identification
The Lead Generation Executive will be responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously updating a comprehensive global database of potential buyers and importers. This involves extracting and analyzing data from Volza and similar trade intelligence platforms to identify high-potential prospects in target markets. The candidate will segment this database by country, industry, product category, and buyer profile, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Regular database audits and cleansing will be essential to maintain data quality and enable effective targeting.
Volza Platform and Trade Data Analysis
The executive will develop expertise in the Volza platform and similar trade intelligence tools to extract actionable insights. This includes analyzing global export-import shipment data, identifying emerging buyers, tracking purchasing patterns, and monitoring competitor activities. The candidate will use advanced filtering capabilities to identify companies matching our ideal customer profile, extract verified contact information for decision-makers, and generate reports highlighting market opportunities and buyer intelligence for specific countries and product categories.
Multi-Channel Lead Generation Campaigns
The Lead Generation Executive will design and execute coordinated outreach campaigns across multiple channels including email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms. Each campaign will be tailored to specific geographic markets and buyer segments, with messaging customized to resonate with local preferences and business practices. The candidate will manage campaign calendars, track engagement metrics, and optimize outreach strategies based on response rates and conversion data.
Email and Social Media Outreach
Email campaigns will form a core component of lead generation activities. The executive will craft compelling, personalized email sequences that introduce our products, highlight value propositions, and encourage buyer engagement. Social media outreach will involve strategic engagement with potential buyers, industry groups, and trade communities on platforms where target customers are active. The candidate will build relationships, share relevant industry content, and position our company as a trusted export partner.
Country-by-Country Lead Generation Strategy
The role requires systematic, country-focused lead generation efforts. The executive will develop targeted strategies for priority export markets, understanding local business practices, regulatory requirements, and buyer preferences. This includes researching market dynamics, identifying key industry players, and tailoring outreach approaches for each geographic region. The candidate will track performance metrics by country, identify high-opportunity markets, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Pricing File Management and Excel Operations
The Lead Generation Executive will work extensively with pricing files, managing bulk updates, creating pricing grids for different markets, and analyzing competitive pricing data. Advanced Excel skills will be essential for creating pricing models, performing margin analysis, conducting what-if scenarios, and generating pricing reports. The candidate will maintain pricing databases, ensure consistency across markets, and support the sales team with competitive pricing intelligence.
Lead Qualification and Sales Support
The executive will qualify leads based on predefined criteria including company size, product fit, geographic location, and purchase intent. Qualified leads will be passed to the sales team with comprehensive background information, contact details, and engagement history. The candidate will maintain communication with sales teams to understand feedback, track lead conversion rates, and continuously refine lead generation and qualification processes.
Reporting and Performance Metrics
The Lead Generation Executive will prepare regular reports for the General Manager of Global Distribution, tracking key performance indicators such as leads generated, lead quality scores, conversion rates, cost per lead, and revenue influenced. Reports will include country-wise performance analysis, campaign effectiveness metrics, database growth statistics, and recommendations for strategy optimization. Monthly and quarterly business reviews will highlight achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Database Compliance and Data Security
The candidate will ensure all lead generation activities comply with data protection regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws. Proper consent management, data handling procedures, and secure storage protocols will be maintained. The executive will implement best practices for email compliance, social media engagement ethics, and responsible data usage.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Understanding of email compliance and best practices.Social Media & Digital MarketingProficiency with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social platforms for B2B outreach. Understanding of social selling strategies and digital engagement tactics.Database ManagementExperience building and maintaining CRM systems or lead databases. Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar platforms.Analytical SkillsStrong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
