Job Description – Design Engineer (Hydraulic Fixtures, Gauges & SPM Machines)

We are seeking a talented and versatile Design Engineer to join our team for the design and development of Hydraulic Fixtures, Inspection Gauges, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in 3D & 2D design using SolidWorks and should be capable of converting technical concepts into practical and efficient manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Hydraulic Fixtures, Welding Fixtures, Checking Gauges, and SPM Machines as per customer requirements.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
• Understand project requirements and provide innovative, cost-effective, and production-friendly design solutions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams during design and development stages.
• Perform design modifications based on trials, customer feedback, and process improvements.
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards, safety norms, and quality requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during machine assembly and trials.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and project data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in SolidWorks (3D & 2D Designing).

Good knowledge of:

• Hydraulic Fixture Design
• Gauge Design
• SPM Machine Design
• Pneumatic & Mechanical Systems
• GD&T and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and customer standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in automotive fixture and gauge design will be preferred.
• Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Hands-on experience with customer handling and project execution is an added advantage.
