Production Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Executive to support and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations for artificial jewellery. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, maintain quality standards, and assist in optimizing processes to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Coordination

• Assist in planning and executing daily production schedules to meet targets and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with design and pre-production teams to ensure accurate execution of production plans.
• Monitor ongoing production activities and ensure adherence to defined processes and specifications.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned production tasks.

Process Monitoring

• Track production performance and report any delays or issues to senior management.
• Support troubleshooting of minor technical or operational issues in the production process.
• Maintain proper documentation of production activities and reports.

Quality Control

• Inspect products during different stages of manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify defects and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.
• Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines.

Team Support

• Work closely with supervisors and operators to ensure smooth workflow on the production floor.
• Assist in task allocation and ensure workforce efficiency.
• Support training of new workers on processes and quality standards.

Inventory & Material Handling

• Monitor availability of raw materials and components required for production.
• Coordinate with the inventory/store team to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Maintain records of material usage and wastage.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow company safety guidelines and ensure safe handling of tools and materials.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Support implementation of safety practices on the production floor.

Process Improvement

• Suggest improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production/executive role in the artificial jewellery manufacturing industry.
• Basic knowledge of artificial jewellery production processes and techniques.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of safety practices in production units.
