Job Description
JD: Quality Inspector
Area Responsibilities
Incoming Material Inspection
Inspect and verify all raw materials, components, and purchased parts against drawings, bills of material, and engineering documents.
Reject materials that fail to meet quality standards.
In-Process Inspection
Monitor manufacturing processes and conduct first-off/last-off, patrol, and visual inspections.
Verify process parameters and operator in-process inspections.
Communicate required adjustments to production supervisors.
Finished Product Inspection
Approve finished chillers by confirming specifications and conducting visual & measurement tests.
Test functionality (e.g., pressure tests, leak tests, electrical safety) against set standards.
Documentation & Reporting
Document inspection results through reports, logs, and quality database entries.
Report defective products, maintain scrap/rejection reports, and track cost of quality.
Document non-conformance and ensure continuous quality improvement.
ASME documentation & line quality checks.
Quality Improvement
Assist production in quality improvement through problem analysis and improvement recommendations.
Recommend process improvements and support root cause analysis.
Teach production team about quality control concerns.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure inspection procedures follow standard safety and healthcare guidelines.
Maintain a safe work environment by complying with legal regulations.
