Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, customer ledgers, purchase accounting, and GST compliance. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally/ERP systems, GST filing, vendor reconciliation, and financial record management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile customer ledgers and outstanding balances
• Record and verify purchase bills, expenses, debit notes, and vendor invoices
• Ensure proper accounting entries in ERP/Tally/Zoho Books
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
• Reconcile GST data with purchase and sales records
• Follow up internally for missing invoices and documentation
• Maintain vendor ledgers and perform periodic reconciliations
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable records
• Prepare reports related to sales, purchases, pending payments, and GST
• Coordinate with CA/auditors during audits and compliance work
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Ensure compliance with taxation and accounting standards
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of GST filing and reconciliation
• Experience in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems
• Good understanding of purchase accounting and ledger management
• Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting reports
• Attention to detail and accuracy in entries
• Ability to manage deadlines and monthly compliance
• Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
• 3–7 years of accounting experience
• Experience in trading, wholesale, distribution, or warehouse business preferred
