Assistant Manager KDNI-Tax Tech-IDT
Roles & responsibilities
- 3 -12 years of experience in ERP integration, with a strong focus on SAP (SD, FI, MM modules) and e-invoicing.
- Hands-on experience with SAP DRC or Sovos E-Invoicing or PEGARO or similar e-Invoicing and e-Reporting platforms
- Strong understanding of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and API-based integrations.
- Familiarity with middleware tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft) is a plus.
- Knowledge of tax engines (e.g., Vertex, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Avalara) is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of indirect tax processes (EU tax laws and Compliance & reporting requirements, VAT, GST, e-invoicing mandates).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Mandatory functional skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, with a strong emphasis on tax configuration and determination.
- Proven experience with FI-SD and FI-MM integration points relevant to tax determination and posting (e.g., pricing procedures, purchase order processing, invoicing).
- Strong Hands-on experience with SAP DRC or Sovos E-Invoicing or PEGARO or similar e-Invoicing and e-Reporting platforms.
- Good knowledge and understanding of indirect tax principles and processes, including EU VAT laws, Compliance and reporting requirements, Canadian GST/HST/PST, Sales & Use tax.
Preferred technical & functional skills
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting).
- Demonstrable experience with at least one major third-party tax engine (OneSource, Vertex, Avalara, etc.), including implementation, integration, and support.
- Experience in e-Invoicing and e-Reporting tools like SAP DRC/ Sovos/ Pagero like tools is a plus.
