Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software products. Utilizing modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, the engineer continuously refines and optimizes software to meet evolving business demands, ensuring high performance and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance functionality and performance.
- Document software designs, processes, and updates to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and remote desktop services.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to application delivery and desktop virtualization environments.
- Knowledge of system performance tuning and resource optimization in virtualized infrastructures.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline administrative tasks.
- Ability to monitor and maintain security standards within virtual application and desktop environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
