IN|KRC|KDN|CAS|TE|Kuwait|Assistant Manager – GGN

Proposed designation-Assistant Manager 
Role type-Individual contributor/Supervisory
If supervisory: 
Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them 
Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals
Reporting to  Manager/SM
Geo to be supported-Kuwait
Work timings-9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals.
Monitoring work, managing and motivating the team to ensure deliverable meet necessary quality standards and agreed SLA’s.
Sharing knowledge, mentoring and coaching the team members.
Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
Performance review of the team.
Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance. Building relationships with (senior) stakeholders 
Auditing complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements
Assisting senior management with regular reporting and tracking of KPIs 

Educational qualifications 
Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)
Work experience
3 plus year post qualification experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with Indian and/or international clients

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
In‑depth knowledge of external Audit, including core audit methodology, for corporate and/or international clients.
Capable of managing the portfolio of few clients directly with the onshore partner.
Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS and Banking & Financial sector will be an added advantage.

Preferred technical & functional skills 
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage
People/team management experience.
