Inland First Mile Associate - Rail

The Landside Operations Execution function is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing inland transportation activities across rail and road networks, ensuring the efficient movement of cargo and containers between ports, inland container depots (ICDs), customer locations, and other logistics facilities.
This role involves supporting operational excellence through the execution of standardized processes, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and effective resolution of day-to-day operational issues.

The successful candidate will perform specialized operational and administrative activities with increasing independence, applying established procedures and best practices while ensuring service quality and operational efficiency. A colleague at this level works on tasks of limited scope and complexity, exercises independent judgment within defined boundaries and guidelines and typically under supervision. The colleague has skills developed through job-related training and on-the-job experience within a specific job discipline.

Colleagues have knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information but may need to escalate non-routine problems to a more experienced colleague or supervisor.

The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge of landside logistics operations, strong internal & external coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, exposure to operational data analysis, reporting, and data support activities, ability to work independently on routine operational activities.
