Roles & responsibilities
We are looking to hire a Manager for our Insurance Audit team focused on the Australia region. As a Manager, you will lead audits, manage client relationships, and guide a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results. Below are the key responsibilities for this role:
•Lead and manage a team of graduates, executives, seniors, and assistant managers working on insurance audits for onshore clients•Manage international clients and lead audits while acting as the primary point of contact for onshore departments, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and champions.•Collaborate with senior management and key onshore contacts to drive business growth and team.•Make regular contact with onshore to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered.•Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore.•Collaborate with the L&D team to identify training needs and develop targeted sessions based on themes from onshore feedback and quality reviews.•Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs.•Demonstrate innovative mindset through use of various audit tools to deliver effective & efficient audits.•Actively participate in team development activities like delivering technical training sessions, acting as the performance manager, mentoring the junior team members to support building most competent audit teams.•Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members.•Coach AMs and TLs on performing reviews and developing their staff•Motivate and develop AMs and TLs to become effective leadersEducational qualifications
•Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA) from recognized accounting body•Additional certifications (if any)Minimum qualification requiredWork experience
•5+ year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients.•Experience in the Insurance Sector is a must.
