Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and implement data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are efficient and compliant. The practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability around data management across the organization. Through continuous engagement and coordination, the role supports the development of a robust data governance framework that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data governance best practices and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance data governance awareness and capabilities within the organization.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data quality and compliance with governance standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments to drive data stewardship initiatives.
- Familiarity with data security principles and practices to ensure protection of sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate data governance concepts and influence organizational practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
