Our Global Corporate team supports clients across diverse industries, including Technology, Life Sciences, and Industrials, by providing the insights they need to make critical strategic decisions. The Live Advisory Team plays a key role in this by delivering customized, high-impact engagements—both in-person and virtual—that go beyond traditional 1-hour calls. Our offerings include 1:1 interviews, online discussion boards, site visits, speaker engagements, focus groups, advisory boards, workshops/panels, and product/usability testing (e.g., labs/UX), and more.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Live Advisory Team as a Project Specialist, focused on delivering high-quality qualitative engagements across GLG’s global corporate client base. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing live and qualitative research engagements that help clients understand market trends, gather end-user feedback, and test messaging and concepts.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Shift Timings: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST/ 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM in EST
- Own end-to-end operational execution of qualitative (live) engagements, including:
- Participant recruitment coordination and scheduling
- Project communications, confirmations, and logistics
- Vendor and venue coordination (for in-person and virtual engagements)
- Travel coordination for experts and participants, as needed
- Creation and management of project documentation (e.g., status tracking, legal/compliance materials, logistics materials)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timelines and quality standards are consistently met
- Partner closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Sales, Business Development, Account Managers, and Research teams) to support the pitching and execution of engagements, while contributing to revenue growth and client retention
- Support and, where appropriate, lead client intake and project scoping conversations
- Communicate professionally and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor projects in real-time (virtually or in-person) to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless execution
- Ensure high-quality delivery of project outputs across platforms and formats
- Support budget tracking and financial management across projects, including coordination of expert and vendor costs
- Conduct post-project follow-ups and contribute to continuous improvement through feedback collection
- Manage data entry, system updates, and internal tracking tools with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain strict confidentiality of research content, Councils, and client information
At a minimum, you will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2–4+ years of experience working in a client-facing or service-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and strong regional language awareness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and highly collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
- A high-performance mindset with a drive to excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
