Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support installation of solar mini-grid and microgrid systems
- Supervise site execution, electrical wiring, and equipment installation
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure operational efficiency
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and field teams
- Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Assist in load assessment and energy planning for rural electrification projects
- Maintain project timelines and quality standards
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Solar PV systems and mini-grid architecture
- Understanding of inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and distribution systems
- Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Familiarity with AC/DC systems and LT distribution
- AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency preferred
- Ability to work on remote/rural project sites
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Qualifications
- ITI/ Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- Certification in Solar PV systems is an advantage
