Job responsibilities :

Production Operations:

• Operate the kneader machine as per production requirements.
• Prepare rubber, EVA, PVC, or other compounds according to approved formulations.
• Ensure accurate weighing and charging of raw materials into the kneader.
• Monitor mixing time, temperature, and machine parameters during operation.
• Transfer mixed compound for further processing as per production schedule.

Quality Control :

• Ensure compounds are mixed uniformly and meet specified quality standards.
• Check batch consistency, color, texture, and mixing quality.
• Report any abnormalities or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow approved formulations without deviations.

Machine Operation & Maintenance :

• Perform routine inspection of the kneader machine before starting operations.
• Monitor machine performance and identify any operational issues.
• Assist maintenance personnel during preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and lubrication as per schedule.

Material Handling :

• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and chemicals.
• Minimize material wastage during the mixing process.
• Maintain proper identification and traceability of batches.

Safety & Housekeeping :

• Follow all safety procedures while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
• Use prescribed PPE at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kneader area and surrounding workplace.
• Dispose of waste materials as per company guidelines.

Documentation :

• Maintain daily production records and batch logs.
• Record raw material consumption and production output.
• Report production and machine-related issues to the supervisor.

Qualification & Experience :

• ITI / 10th / 12th Pass.
• 2–5 years of experience in rubber, EVA, PVC, footwear, or polymer compounding operations.
• Experience in operating kneader or mixing machines preferred.

Required Skills :

• Knowledge of compounding and mixing processes.
• Understanding of production formulations and batch control.
• Basic machine troubleshooting skills.
• Awareness of quality standards and safety practices.
• Ability to handle production targets efficiently.
