Junior Account Executive

Position Overview: The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting financial decision-making processes within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions & Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform month-end closing activities.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment issues.

3. Taxation & Compliance:

• Prepare and file tax returns (GST, VAT, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Assist in audits and liaise with auditors and tax authorities.

4. Budgeting & Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management.

5. Other Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial planning and strategy development.
• Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Support internal control measures to prevent fraud and errors.

 Reports To: Team Leader/Manager / Parallel reporting to Owner & Brand Vendor
