Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.

Verify billing data, purchase orders, and supporting documents.

Maintain billing records and reconcile accounts receivable.

Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with clients.

Prepare debit notes, credit notes, and adjustments when required.

Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting activities.

Coordinate with sales and operations teams regarding billing queries.

Ensure compliance with GST/tax regulations and company policies.

Maintain accounting entries in ERP/accounting software.

Prepare billing reports and aging analysis for management.

Zoho Billing experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).

06m - 2 years of experience in billing

Good to have:

Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and accounting principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP, SAP, or QuickBooks.

Good communication and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred SkillsTime management and multitasking ability.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of ERP systems and billing cycles.
