Job Description
Digital Marketing Executive (Team Lead Track)
Alkemy EdTech is a career acceleration platform. We don't run courses. We build capability. And we need someone who markets the same way — with precision, systems thinking, and zero tolerance for vanity metrics. This is not a coordinator role. This is a builder role. You'll own campaigns, manage a small team, run CRM and automation workflows end-to-end, and be directly responsible for driving qualified leads that convert to enrolled learners. Paid & Performance Marketing
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn — from creative brief to ROAS reporting
- Own lead quality, not just lead volume. You'll be measured on qualified pipeline, not click-through rates
- Run A/B tests on creatives, audiences, and landing pages. Document learnings and ship changes fast
CRM & Marketing Automation
- Own the CRM — pipeline hygiene, lead stage management, and reporting dashboards
- Build and manage behavioral email/WhatsApp automation sequences: enrollment nudges, re-engagement flows, drip campaigns
- Ensure zero leads fall through the gap between marketing and sales handoff
Content & Brand Distribution
- Oversee content execution across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube — working with the content team or executing directly when needed
- Ensure every piece of content reflects Alkemy's brand voice: outcome-driven, specific, anti-generic
- Track content performance and connect it to top-of-funnel lead data
SEO & Organic Growth
- Own on-page SEO strategy for alkemyedtech.com
- Coordinate with content and tech to execute schema, page structure, and authority-building
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, and search intent shifts in the EdTech space
Analytics & Reporting
- Weekly performance reporting across all channels: paid, organic, email, CRM
- Build dashboards in GA4 or equivalent. No one should be making decisions without data in this team
- Identify drop-offs in the funnel and own the fix — not just the report
Team Leadership
- Manage 1–2 junior marketers or interns — assign tasks, review output, upskill them
- Run weekly syncs, set clear KPIs, and hold the bar on quality
- Be the connective tissue between growth, content, sales, and product
Experience
- 3–5 years in digital marketing, with at least 1 year managing campaigns independently (EdTech or high-velocity D2C/B2C preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools — not just familiarity, actual pipeline ownership
- Demonstrated experience building or managing marketing automation flows (email, WhatsApp, or SMS-based)
- Experience managing or mentoring at least one junior team member
Skills
- Meta Ads and Google Ads — campaign setup, optimization, budget management
- GA4, Search Console, and basic SEO auditing
- CRM management: lead tagging, stage movement, reporting
- Email/automation tools: Mailchimp, Brevo, ZeptoMail, MoEngage, or similar
- Basic prompt engineering or AI tool fluency is a strong plus (we're an AI-first company — this matters)
