Qualification: ITI (Fitter / Turner / Machinist / Sheet Metal Worker or equivalent)

Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with relevant ITI qualification may also apply)

Location: TSIIC Industrial area Chandanavally,Shabad

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Bending Machine Operator to operate and set up press brake/bending machines for sheet metal fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for producing components according to drawings, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate press bending (press brake) machines to bend sheet metal components as per drawings.
• Set up tooling, punches, and dies according to job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Verify dimensions and angles using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, protractors, and gauges.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain production records and achieve daily production targets.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of press brake/bending machine operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand bending sequences.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Sheet Metal Worker, or related trade.
• 1–3 years of experience in press bending or sheet metal fabrication.
• Fresh ITI candidates may be considered for trainee positions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to handle sheet metal components safely.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
