Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant for our retail business. The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, managing GST compliance, and supporting overall financial activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting activities and bookkeeping

Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records

Prepare invoices, vouchers, and bank reconciliation statements

Manage GST filing, TDS, and statutory compliance

Monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions

Coordinate with auditors and support during audits

Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports

Maintain inventory and stock-related accounting records

Ensure accuracy of financial data and documentation

Required Skills:

Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting principles

Understanding of GST, TDS, and retail accounting processes

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com or relevant degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Minimum 3 years of experience in retail accounting

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Immediate joiners preferred
