Job Description
- Core ResponsibilitiesManaging daily accounting operations such as:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- General ledger
- Bank reconciliation
- Cash flow monitoring
- Preparing:
- Monthly financial statements
- Profit & loss reports
- Balance sheets
- MIS reports for management
- Monitoring dealership revenue from:
- Vehicle sales
- Service department
- Spare parts
- Insurance and finance commissions
- Dealership-Specific ResponsibilitiesTracking inventory accounting for vehicles and spare parts
- Managing manufacturer incentive claims and reimbursements
- Verifying vehicle billing, registration, and taxation entries
- Coordinating with sales and service teams for revenue reconciliation
- Monitoring loan settlements and customer payment collections
- Handling GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Team & Process ManagementSupervising accountants and cashier staff
- Ensuring internal financial controls and audit readiness
- Coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants
- Improving accounting systems and dealership financial processes
- Banking & Vendor CoordinationManaging dealer financing and banking relationships
- Processing vendor payments and customer refunds
- Monitoring outstanding dues and credit limits
- Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
- Experience with ERP/dealership management software
- Financial analysis and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and leadership ability
- Knowledge of automobile dealership operations
