Admission Counsellor

We are looking for a dedicated Career Counsellor to guide high school students in making informed decisions about their higher education pathways in India and abroad. The counsellor will be stationed at the school and work closely with students, parents, and school management to provide personalized academic and career guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students (Grades 9–12)
• Guide students on higher education options in India and internationally (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.)
• Assist students in identifying suitable courses, universities, and career paths
• Organize seminars, workshops, and career awareness sessions within the school
• Support students with application processes, timelines, and documentation
• Maintain student records and track progress
• Engage with parents to provide clarity on career options and study pathways
• Stay updated on global education trends, admission requirements, and visa processes
• Coordinate with internal teams for application processing (if applicable)

Key Skills Required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of Indian and international education systems
• Ability to build trust with students and parents
• Presentation and public speaking skills
• Organized and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in education counselling or student advisory roles
• Knowledge of study abroad processes is an added advantage

Work Structure:

• Full-time role stationed at the school
• Works under August Overseas but coordinates daily with school management

• Number of student counselling sessions conducted

• Conversion of students into higher education pathways
• Seminar/workshop engagement levels
