A Day in the Life
As an Advanced Analytics Manager (Finance Analytics Hands-On) in the Reporting, Analytics & Insights (RAI) COE within Global Finance, you will play a critical role in driving end-to-end finance analytics, data engineering, and reporting solutions while actively contributing as an individual contributor.This role is designed for a techno-functional leader who combines strong finance acumen (FP&A, P&L, forecasting) with deep expertise in data, analytics, and visualization tools. You will not only lead initiatives but also personally build dashboards, data pipelines, and analytical models that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
You will work closely with Finance, Data Science, and Engineering teams to develop interactive visualizations that drive data accessibility. This role requires an average of 4-5 days per week of overlapping working hours with the U.S. team to ensure seamless collaboration.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Embed AI-driven analytics and decision intelligence by developing and operationalizing machine learning models (e.g., revenue forecasting, anomaly detection, and scenario simulation) and integrating them into Power BI dashboards and finance workflows to enable predictive and prescriptive insights.
Hands-On Analytics & Delivery (60–70%) - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and financial reports with strong data modeling and DAX expertise.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations using SQL, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Perform deep-dive financial analysis (revenue, margin, cost, forecasting, variance analysis).
Stakeholder & Business Partnering (20–30%) - Collaborate with finance leaders and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions
- Act as a bridge between finance and technology teams, ensuring alignment on data definitions and KPIs
- Support strategic initiatives through ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling
Leadership & Governance (10–20%) - Lead and mentor a team of analysts/engineers while remaining hands-on
- Establish and enforce best practices in data governance, reporting standards, and analytics design
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across finance analytics processes
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Requires a Degree in Finance or Engineering, or related field; MBA in Finance preferred
- Requires 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with: - Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards)
- SQL / Snowflake / data warehousing
- Strong understanding of financial processes (FP&A, P&L, forecasting, reporting)
- Proven ability to own end-to-end analytics solutions (data to insight to decision-making)
Nice to Have: - Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or workflow automation tools
- Familiarity with Python, Spark, or advanced analytics/ML use cases
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, or ERP systems
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with senior stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with passion for automation, simplification, and digital transformation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment
