Audit Assistant

Accounts Executive – CA FirmWe are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and client-based assignments across various industries.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Perform Ledger Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally Prime
• Prepare and review Tax Invoices, E-Invoices and E-Way Bills
• Assist in preparation and filing of GST Returns, TDS Returns and other statutory compliances
• Prepare financial statements, schedules and supporting workings
• Assist in Income Tax, GST, TDS and audit-related assignments
• Handle client-wise accounting and compliance projects within prescribed timelines
• Coordinate with clients for accounting records, bank statements, invoices and other required documents
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports, reconciliations and financial data
• Support statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits and other certification assignments
• Maintain proper documentation and working papers for each client assignment
• Communicate with clients, banks and government departments/portals whenever required
• Required SkillsProficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax compliances
• Familiarity with GST, Income Tax, TRACES and other statutory portals will be an advantage
• Ability to handle multiple client assignments and meet deadlines
• Good communication and client coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
