Consultant - Workday HCM/ Data Conversion

Roles & Responsibilities: Data Conversion Manager/Solution Architect

•   Lead Workday Data Conversion projects involving strategy, implementation support, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) optimization related to Information Technology (IT) operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Workday applications 

•   Assist customers with their data extract, explaining the conversion process, defining data requirements, and working with them to correct data in their legacy systems and prepare for the data conversion cycle.

•   Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities; work with the appropriate KPMG resources from other service lines/industries 

•   Lead the day-to-day activities of ERP Advisory engagements for various clients, including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews 

•   Supervise and performance manage staff working on assigned engagements 

•   Manage engagements according to KPMG’s financial/cost management policies

 

Certifications

• Workday HCM Core or Financials Core (Required)
• Workday HCM /Financials Practical - Iload (Required)
• Workday Specialization Certification is an added advantage
• Advanced Data Conversion Certification is an added advantage.

 

Experience & Background 

•  Qualification should be BE/ B.Tech / M Tech/ MBA/ MCA

•   Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT and

Professional Experience of at least 4 years in implementing or supporting Workday

• Minimum 5+ years of functional financials experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or other ERP financial management systems, etc

•   Should have experience in at least 3 complete project lifecycles in a data conversion role.

•   Data Conversion consultant should also have good knowledge in Workday HCM Core or Workday Finance Core Professional Experience of at least 5 years as Workday Conversion Consultant/developer

• Proven track record as a collaborative team player, able to work in a cross functional project team and collaborate to deliver to ambitious timelines

 

Required Skills/Experience:

• Candidate should have the ability to perform in a dynamically changing environment
• Experience with the project management tools JIRA, Confluence. 

•   Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work and partner effectively with others

•   Involved in the design and discovery sessions with the client

• Able to prepare the Data conversion strategy document

•   Must have at least 2 end to end Workday Platform projects delivery experience

•   Strong product expertise to recognize downstream impacts including cross functional.
