Core Responsibilities

 

• Solution Leadership: Own AEM solution design (Sites/Assets/Headless), component architecture, content models, and integration patterns with downstream services.
• Hands on Engineering: Build performant, secure experiences using Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and AEM frameworks (Sling/OSGi, HTL, Dispatcher).
• Headless & Composable: Implement GraphQL/Content APIs, reusable libraries, and design system components; ensure accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Quality & Operations: Establish CI/CD, testing strategies, code quality gates, and production observability; drive reliability, performance, and security posture.
• Cross Functional Partnering: Collaborate with Product, UX, MarTech, and Cloud teams to align architecture with business outcomes and governance standards.
• Drive innovation in personalization and content delivery, leveraging Adobe Target and AEP for advanced customer experiences.
• Champion performance optimization strategies, including CDN tuning, caching, and image optimization for global scale.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) in all AEM implementations.
• Good understanding of AEM Cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, including secure networking, storage, and integration with enterprise  providers.
• Good understanding of cloud-native monitoring, automated backups, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability, performance, and operational excellence for AEM environments.

• Adobe WebSDK, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP / RT CDP), XDM Schema
• AWS knowledge (IAM, CloudFront, S3, ECS/EKS, Lambda; infra for AEM author/publish/Dispatcher)
• Web components (JS), React, Angular
• Mobile development (iOS or Android) integration patterns with AEM headless services
• AI knowledge and AI driven modules.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability with 8+ years of experience to lead AEM implementations from discovery through launch (Sites/Assets, content governance).
• Track record of architecting scalable, secure solutions (Sling Models, OSGi services, HTL, Dispatcher/CDN tuning).
• Experience with API first integrations (REST/GraphQL), CI/CD, automated testing, and performance tooling.
