About the team:The IDSIS team works on central topics for DIV I. The main goal is to bring synergies across projects and use common resources. The team is responsible for Test Strategies, Test Automation, Tool Migrations, Framework Updates, and Library Development for DIV I.We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to join our automotive engineering team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting‑edge automotive projects, focusing on data analysis, testing automation, and process optimization. You will gain practical exposure to applying AI solutions in real‑world automotive scenarios and contribute to innovation in next‑generation vehicle technologies.

What you can look forward to as a Software Development Engineer :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or AI with 0 to 2 Years exp.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries
• Good knowledge in Angular, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, pgAdmin and Visual Studio Code
• Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation techniques
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work on POC development
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Your Profile as an Software Development Engineer :

 

• Design, develop, and maintain Python libraries (Test Evaluation, Analysis, and Automation) for automotive embedded testing
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand testing requirements and translate them into reliable software solutions
• Develop custom tools to support Test Engineers in daily activities
• Enhance testing frameworks by developing interfaces to commonly used testing tools in the embedded testing domain (dSPACE & Vector tools)
• Develop and maintain testing pipelines in Azure to ensure seamless integration and deployment of testing processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing libraries, frameworks, and Azure pipelines
