About the role

The GBS Head of Workplace, Facility & Real Estate will lead the transition of Workplace, Facility Operations, Corporate Security coordination, Travel Administration, and Real Estate services into the GBS operating model. This role is responsible for building the new service line from the ground up—including hiring the team, designing delivery processes, establishing governance, and driving continuous improvement across all enterprise service domains.

Your responsibilities

•    Collaborate with the GBS Transformation team to do the end-to-end transition of Workplace, Facility, Security, Travel, and Real Estate services into GBS, following the operating model frameworks provided.
•    Build and scale the new Enterprise Services team: hiring, onboarding, structure design, capability building.
•    Establish governance, service taxonomy, delivery matrices, KPIs, and SLAs for all services.
•    Manage facility helpdesk ticketing, Tier‑1 triage, SLA tracking, and escalation management.
•    Oversee meeting-room & workspace booking systems, utilization, and policy enforcement.
•    Administer office supplies, vendor coordination, and spend analytics.
•    Oversee vendor contract management (cleaning, catering, maintenance) in coordination with local teams.
•    Lead GSOC monitoring coordination, incident case tracking, background verification, access control system admin, and global security compliance reporting.
•    Oversee travel policy operations, vendor management (TMC), VIP escalations, corporate card programs, traveler tracking, analytics, and carbon reporting.
•    Manage real estate administration including lease databases, rent/CAM processing, portfolio analytics, capital project coordination, landlord/tenant documentation, and property compliance.

The experience we're looking for

•    10+ years of experience in Workplace/Facility Management, Real Estate, Security, Travel Operations, or Shared Services in a multinational organization.
•    Proven experience in GBS transformation, service migrations, or building functions from scratch.
•    Strong governance, process management, and operational excellence background.
•    Experience leading service delivery teams across multiple regions.
•    Strong vendor management expertise (FM providers, TMC, Security, CRE firms).
•    Deep understanding of enterprise service systems (ticketing tools, access systems, CRE platforms, travel systems).
