2. Compensation and Benefits

• Payroll Processing: Ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Benefits Administration: Managing health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
• Benchmarking: Researching industry standards to offer competitive pay and perks. 

3. Training and Development

• Onboarding & Skill Building: Providing initial orientation and continuous training for employees to perform their jobs.

Career Growth: Creating professional development programs and succession planning to build future leaders. 

4. HR Compliance

• Labor Laws: Ensuring the company adheres to federal, state, and local employment and tax regulations.
• Policy Management: Drafting, updating, and distributing the employee handbook.
• Recordkeeping: Storing confidential personnel files, tax forms, and performance records securely. 

5. Workplace Safety and Employee Relations

• Safety Protocols: Creating a safe work environment and addressing workplace hazards.
• Conflict Resolution: Mediating disputes between coworkers and handling grievances.
