Responsibilities: 

Seeking a skilled Software Development and Test Engineer with expertise in software quality assurance, test automation, and 5G RAN technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, developing automated test frameworks, and conducting thorough validation and regression testing for telecom and embedded systems. 

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and related tools to improve test efficiency and coverage. 

• Perform end-to-end regression and functional testing on 5G NR, RAN components, and embedded Linux systems ensuring high-quality product delivery. 

• Manage API testing activities including RESTful API validation using Postman and automation tools. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement of software solutions. 

• Utilize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for test automation integration, reporting, and monitoring. 

• Analyze network protocols and system logs (Wireshark, QXDM) to diagnose and troubleshoot defects and optimize system performance. 

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, defect reports, and verification & validation artifacts. 

• Support deployment and commissioning activities for telecom devices and cloud RAN applications. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation, quality assurance, and telecom domain (preferably 5G RAN). 

• Strong programming skills in Python, shell scripting, and test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium. 

• Experience with API testing and automation using RESTful services, Postman, and JSON validation. 

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, HP ALM, and Quality Center. 

• Knowledge of embedded Linux, Android debugging tools (ADB), and networking protocols. 

• Ability to analyze logs and network trace tools such as Wireshark and QXDM for issue identification. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Mandatory skill sets: 

QA Automation Testing, Software Development Testing, 5G RAN, Python, API Testing, Rest API, Robot Framework and Selenium, Postman 

Additional skill sets preferred: 

Wireshark, QXDM, Embedded Linux, Cloud RAN, Jenkins/CI CD
