International P&L Consolidation Finance Leader

Job Description Summary

The International P&L Consolidation Finance Leader plays a critical role in overseeing the consolidation of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements across GEHC International operations. Reporting to the International Income Statement Leader, this key leadership position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency in financial reporting across the region. The role requires strong technical expertise in financial consolidation, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with regional finance teams, corporate finance teams and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and optimization of financial processes.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimation and reporting activities, related to the consolidation of P&L statements for International region, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.

  • Lead projects and initiatives aiming at standardization, centralization and simplification of processes between all International zones.

  • Coordinate with regional finance teams to gather, validate, and reconcile financial data for consolidation purposes for the entire region.

  • Review and analyze P&L results and estimates, variances, and trends to identify key performance drivers and areas for improvement.

  • Provide guidance and support to regional finance teams on accounting policies, procedures, and best practices related to P&L consolidation.

  • Develop and maintain robust consolidation processes, controls, and documentation to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements across the region.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate finance, accounting, and internal audit, to support financial reporting and compliance initiatives.

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline P&L consolidation processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Lead the implementation of new accounting standards, changes in reporting requirements, and system upgrades related to P&L consolidation.

  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing insights and analysis on P&L trends and drivers.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on P&L consolidation matters, providing training and guidance to finance teams as needed.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related field, with 2 years of experience in financial consolidation or reporting roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial consolidation processes, and reporting standards
• Experience with financial consolidation software and systems (e.g., Hyperion)
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data to drive strategic decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across international regions.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead and motivate teams in a matrixed environment.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial consolidation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills preferred.
