Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly capable .NET Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications. This role involves building robust backend systems, RESTful APIs, and integrating emerging technologies within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in .NET technologies, cloud integration, and software architecture to support innovation, improve operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Software Requirements

Required:

• Extensive experience with .NET Core / .NET 5+ for backend development.

• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET for API and web service creation.

• Knowledge of SQL (preferably SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) for data management and query optimization.

• Familiarity with API development and RESTful service design.

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure, for deploying and managing applications.

• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.

• Strong version control skills using Git and CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture design principles.

• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps ecosystems.

• Understanding of serverless functions and cloud-native application development.

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of backend systems, APIs, and microservices using .NET and related frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

• Architect secure, high-performance, and maintainable backend architectures aligned with industry best practices.

• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote best practices for security and performance.

• Automate build, deployment, and testing workflows through CI/CD pipelines.

• Troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and ensure application security and compliance.

• Document system architecture, APIs, and operational procedures for support and future development.

• Essential: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, REST API development

• Essential: ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Microservices frameworks (e.g., Dapr)

• Preferred: SignalR, MassTransit, or other message bus libraries

Databases & Data Management:

• Essential: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL with query optimization skills

• Industry experience in finance, healthcare, retail, or technology sectors is preferred; relevant project experience is acceptable.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, deploy, and optimize backend microservices and APIs.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Conduct code and architecture reviews, implement best practices, and mentor junior developers.

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.

• Automate deployment workflows and manage infrastructure as code.

• Document architecture decisions, API specifications, and operational procedures.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to propose improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise backend systems using .NET technologies.

• Certifications in cloud services (AWS Solution Architect, Azure Developer) or in enterprise architecture are advantageous.

• Proven expertise in API development, cloud deployment, and DevOps practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
