Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Schematic Capture & Layout: Translate electrical circuits and system specifications into multi-layer PCB layouts using CAD software.
  • Design Optimization: Route traces while addressing high-speed design constraints, signal/power integrity (SI/PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  • Design for Excellence (DFX): Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) rules to ensure high yields and cost-effective production.
  • Documentation: Generate and manage Gerber/ODB++ files, Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and fabrication specifications.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Collaborate with hardware engineers to build, test, and debug prototype boards.
  • Component Management: Create PCB footprints, schematic symbols, and manage component libraries and obsolescence
