Job Description
· To work in providing neurological, orthopaedic, cardio respiratory physiotherapy assessments and treatments and goal settings to a designated caseload of patients .
· To liaise with other health care professionals, carers and relatives.
· To complete all new patient assessments and update in department case sheets.
· To be actively responsible for respiratory assessment and treatment of tracheostomy patients.
· To provide specialist neurological, orthopaedic and cardio respiratory physiotherapy input to people with a variety of caseloads and other complex conditions.
· To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
· To demonstrate a high level of clinical effectiveness by use of evidence based practice.
· To contribute to regular goal planning and ensure that information is shared/ communicated on a frequent basis.
· To participate in education and training as required .
