Job Description
PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer:
Job Role: We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial machinery and processes.
- Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Design and configure HMI and SCADA applications.
- Perform machine commissioning and on-site installation support.
- Modify existing automation programs based on production requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and reports.
- Conduct system testing, FAT/SAT, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of PLC programming.
- Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols:
- Modbus
- Profibus
- Ethernet/IP
- Profinet
- Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and industrial sensors.
Preferred PLC Platforms Experience in one or more of the following:
- Siemens S7-1200 / S7-1500
- Allen-Bradley ControlLogix / CompactLogix
- Mitsubishi Electric PLCs
- Schneider Electric PLC systems
- Omron PLCs
- Educational Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Instrumentation
- Mechatronics
- Automation Engineering
- Experience Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Preferred Industries Manufacturing
