Product Manager, Advanced Enterprise Data Platform Capabilities

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  
• Experience working in data, enterprise, platform or infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex data platforms, drafting detailed PRDs, and executing long-term product roadmaps.
• Experience working in a geographically distributed team with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML foundations, RAG, and semantic modeling.
• Ability to define platform success metrics from user feedback while ensuring strict data privacy and security compliance.

As a Product Manager for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), you will drive the direction to transform Google’s data landscape into an AI-ready ecosystem. You will lead the development of advanced semantic and reasoning capabilities - such as hybrid search, enterprise knowledge graphs, and GraphRAG - to unify our currently fragmented data space.

Responsibilities

• Drive the platform's goal by balancing immediate operational needs with a clear roadmap for an AI-ready, unified enterprise data ecosystem.
• Generate and define detailed product requirements and feature specifications to solve complex data fragmentation and governance challenges.
• Partner with business units to align dependencies and ensure the platform meets wide-ranging enterprise requirements.
• Engage directly with domain owners to lead platform adoption, optimize common capabilities, and achieve product-market fit. 
  
• Define satisfaction metrics through user feedback while navigating ambiguity to maintain enterprise standards and high-impact delivery.
