Purchase & Logistics Executive

The Purchase & Logistics Executive at plays a pivotal role in managing procurement and logistics operations. Responsibilities include overseeing purchase orders, supplier relationships, logistics coordination, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management:

• Process purchase orders using ERP systems.
• Verify and recheck Performa invoices from suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing.
• Confirm orders with suppliers after management approval.
• Occasionally place direct indents whenever it required.

1. Supplier and Logistics Coordination:

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Plan vehicle logistics and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Provide status updates to the sales team via ERP.
• Address and control complaints related to delivery delays due to stock issues.

1. Inventory and Documentation:

• Ensure accurate inventory records for the showroom using ERP.
• Submit purchase bills to the accounts department in time.
• Ensure all showroom deliveries and display items are received and recorded.
• Update Proof of Delivery in the ERP system.
• Capture and monitor manual transactions.

1. Cost Control and Efficiency:

• Implement cost control measures to optimize procurement and logistics.
• Ensure timely submission of transporter bills to the accounts department.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

1. Collaborating Departments:

• Sales: Coordinate displays with suppliers and warehouse
• Accounts: Submit bills, invoices, and payments
• Warehouse: Coordinate inventory and deliveries
• Suppliers: Manage procurement and payment processes
• Transporters: Manage vehicle logistics
• Sales Coordinator: Ensure seamless coordination
