Retail Store Manager

Role Summary:

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overall store operations, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer experience, and leading the store team to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Performance:

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Drive store KPIs like conversion, average bill value (ABV), and units per bill (UPT)
• Plan and execute store-level promotions and offers
• Analyze sales reports and take corrective actions

Store Operations:

Ensure smooth day-to-day store functioning

• Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and visual merchandising (VM)
• Manage inventory, stock availability, and replenishment
• Reduce shrinkage and control stock loss

Customer Experience:

Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high satisfaction

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations
• Ensure proper product knowledge across the team

Team Management:

Train, motivate, and supervise store staff

• Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor performance
• Conduct regular team briefings and reviews
• Drive team productivity and discipline

Visual Merchandising (VM)

Ensure attractive product display as per brand guidelines

• Refresh visuals regularly to attract customers
• Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and promotions

Key Requirements:

Experience: 3–7 years in retail store management (preferably footwear)

• Strong leadership and team handling skills
• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Sales-driven mindset with target orientation
• Basic knowledge of retail KPIs and reporting
