Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting practices specific to the jewellery industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, inventory accounting, compliance, and reporting while ensuring accuracy in gold, diamond, and precious stone transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Manage gold stock, bullion, and jewellery inventory accounting
• Monitor karigar (artisan) accounts, wastage, and stock movements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliation and cash flow management
• Ensure proper documentation and financial controls
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making

Education Qualification:

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) – Mandatory
• M.Com (Master of Commerce) – Preferred
• CA Inter / CMA Inter – Added Advantage
