Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Provides strategic advice, support, and services to internal business partners and external audiences and providers. Develops appropriate and effective policies, procedures and controls pertaining to: financial management, accounting processes and procedures (GAAP), cash management, financial and strategic planning, tax compliance and corporate reporting functions. Manages and coordinates external financial reporting and investor relations. Includes Controllers with responsibility for both finance and accounting.
