Senior Quality Engineer

What You Will Do: 

We are seeking a CRM Tester to support quality assurance for our internal Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution. This role will be individually accountable for assigned test case creation, test execution, defect documentation, retesting, regression validation, and timely status updates across Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Insights Journeys. The ideal candidate will partner with the Test Lead, product owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to help ensure releases are reliable, well-tested, and aligned to business outcomes. 

• Execute assigned quality assurance activities for CRM releases under the direction of the Test Lead. 

• Review business requirements and acceptance criteria to create and maintain assigned test cases, test data needs, and execution steps. 

• Perform assigned functional, regression, integration, data validation, user acceptance support, and deployment readiness testing across the delivery lifecycle. 

• Maintain individual accountability for assigned test execution, status updates, defect documentation, retesting, and evidence capture. 

• Contribute to reusable regression coverage for critical CRM workflows and high-risk release scenarios. 

• Partner with the Test Lead, product owners, business analysts, developers, architects, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, raise quality risks, and support quality-focused delivery. 

• Document defects clearly, support triage discussions, validate fixes, and track assigned defects through closure. 

• Provide accurate test status, defect updates, execution progress, and risk input to support release readiness reporting. 

• Participate in sprint ceremonies, release planning, retrospectives, and quality reviews to improve delivery practices. 

• Stay current with CRM testing practices, release validation approaches, and quality engineering best practices. 

What You Will Need: 

• Bachelor’s degree (or US equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field 

• Four + years of experience in testing with minimum TWO (2) years of hands-on experience testing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales and Customer Insights Journeys) solutions. 

• Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, data validation, exploratory, and user acceptance testing methods. 

• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases, test scripts, test data, defects, and supporting test evidence. 

• Ability to understand assigned test coverage, acceptance criteria, traceability needs, regression scenarios, and release validation expectations. 

• Ability to reproduce issues, isolate defects, validate fixes, and assess regression impact in partnership with development teams. 

• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. 

• Ability to manage assigned testing priorities, communicate progress and risks, and follow established testing processes in a hybrid delivery environment. 

What Would Be Nice to Have: 

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including Sales, Customer Insights Journeys, or comparable CRM solutions. 

• Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable lifecycle management tools for test plans, test cases, test suites, defects, traceability, and reporting. 

• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Azure DevOps Test Plans, or comparable platforms. 

• Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility in quality engineering and test leadership. 

• Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple testing priorities, releases, defects, and stakeholder demands.
