System Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented System Administrator to manage and support our organization’s network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, and end-user IT operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining secure, reliable, and efficient IT systems, including networking devices, cloud platforms, Office 365 services, endpoint devices, and remote access solutions.

This role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in networking, system administration, and Microsoft cloud technologies who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routers, switches, and VLANs.
• Support configuration, maintenance, backups, and documentation of network and IT systems.
• Manage Microsoft 365 users, licenses, permissions, and provide support for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, MFA, VPN access, Conditional Access, and endpoint security standards.
• Provide Level 1 IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, remote access, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Support Windows, Linux, and hybrid cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrollment, endpoint management, and remote workforce support.
• Monitor system performance, security logs, backups, and support disaster recovery procedures.
• Assist in automation and scripting tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and support infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) OR relevant certifications.
• 0–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, system administration, or cloud administration.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.

Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems and basic system administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and access control.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management is an advantage.
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to new technologies quickly.
