Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Receivables & Revenue ManagementInstitutional Invoicing: Prepare and dispatch accurate monthly invoices for corporate and educational clients.
- Ageing Analysis: Maintain a "Zero-Dues" culture by tracking the Ageing Report daily. Proactively follow up on overdue payments to ensure DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) remains within targets.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure billing is aligned with specific contract terms (e.g., per-plate rates, fixed monthly rentals, or utility reimbursements).
- 2. Daily Bank & Cash ReconciliationMulti-Channel Recon: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements against collections from various sources: Cash, UPI, and tech-enabled canteen apps.
- Site-to-Bank Verification: Cross-verify daily "End of Day" (EOD) reports from Site Managers with actual bank credits to identify and resolve any cash shortages or digital payment failures immediately.
- 3. Vendor & Procurement AccountingDaily Ledger Balancing: Reconcile daily supplies (vegetables, milk, groceries) against vendor delivery challans and approved price lists.
- Payment Scheduling: Manage the vendor payment cycle to maintain good relationships while maximizing our cash-on-hand.
- Debit Note Management: Ensure "Debit Notes" are issued immediately for any rejected stock or short deliveries.
- 4. Cash Flow & TreasuryCash Flow Forecasting: Prepare weekly "Fund Requirement" reports to balance incoming client payments against outgoing payroll and vendor liabilities.
- Operating Margin Tracking: Monitor daily bank balances to ensure adequate liquidity for unexpected operational needs across different cities
Multi-Site Financial Management
- Consolidate and reconcile daily sales reports and cash/digital collections from multiple canteen sites.
- Monitor site-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to identify cost overruns or revenue leakages.
- Manage centralized billing for corporate and institutional clients, ensuring timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.
