Job Description: Mechanical Design EngineerPosition OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies. You will translate concepts into production-ready 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and high quality.

• Key Responsibilities3D Modeling & Design: Create, modify, and optimize complex 3D parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• 2D Drafting & Detailing: Generate precise, production-ready 2D engineering drawings, fabrication layouts, and manufacturing blueprints using AutoCAD.
• Product Development: Collaborating with manufacturing teams to take products from the conceptual design phase to final production.
• Design Verification: Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure proper fit and function of components.
• BOM Management: Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation for the manufacturing floor.
• Continuous Improvement: Redesign existing products to improve efficiency, reduce production costs, and resolve design issues.
• Required Skills & QualificationsSoftware Expertise: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assembly, sheet metal/surfacing) and AutoCAD (2D drafting and layouts) is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in mechanical product design and manufacturing environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong
